HubSpot integration
The “Amount” field in your HubSpot Deals is now optional 💰
As of today, the “Amount” field in HubSpot's Deal forms is no longer blocked as required.
If your business operation doesn't always have a defined amount when you open a business—either because you define it later, because you work with quotation services, or because you're in the prospecting stage—there's nothing to stop you. You can create and edit Deals without filling out the Amount field, and as an administrator you can decide exactly how you want them to behave.
#
How does it work? ⚙️
The behavior of the “Amount” field now depends on how you configure it from “Customize Forms”:
- ✅ Active and not required (default behavior in new integrations) :the Deal creation or editing form does not require filling in the amount to save. You can leave it empty without problem.
- ✅ Active and required:the form will continue to ask for a value before saving, just like before. Ideal if your business process always includes amount.
- ⬜ Inactive:the field doesn't appear on the form and isn't sent to HubSpot.
💡
Did you already have your HubSpot integration connected?
Your Amount field will remain active and required so as not to interrupt your current operation. The difference is that you can now adjust it whenever you want from “Customize Forms”.If you also use
Flowbuilder
to automate the creation of Deals, your flows can now run the “Create Deal” node without an assigned amount, without errors and without interrupting the conversation.#
How to set it up? 🛠️
Customizing how the Amount field behaves in your Deal forms takes less than a minute:
- Open any conversation in your Atom tray.
- Go to the HubSpot side panel.
- Click Add Dealor edit an existing Deal and go toCustomize Forms.
- Select the Businesstab.
- Find the Amountfield and adjust theActiveandRequiredcheckboxes depending on how your business process works.
