Until now, information fields in Atom were filled in by typing. That works for some data, but for information that should always have a fixed value — the type of plan, the source of the lead, the customer segment — free text generates inconsistencies. Starting today, you can create fields with predefined options, using two new types:
simple selector
(choose one option) and multiple selector
(you can choose several).
How does it work?
When you create a selector field, you define a catalog of options. Each option has two parts:
- Visible name: What the agent will read when answering a conversation.
- Internal Value: the identifier used by the system in integrations and automations. By default it's the same as the name, but you can customize it.
Two important things before configuring:
- The internal value cannot be changed once saved— this protects the consistency of the data you already have registered.
- If an option ceases to be useful, it isdisabled, not deleted, so that historical records do not lose information.
Each field allows up to
50 options
, with a maximum of 50 characters
per option. How to set it up? 🛠️
- Go to Settings > Conversations > Information Fields.
- Click Create.
- Choose the type: Single SelectororMultiple Selector.
- Add each option with its visible name and internal value.
- Look. The field is available throughout the platform. ✅
